What we do and want

Bergfotens School is a pleasant F-6 school in Tyresö municipality, with approximately 300 students and around 40 staff members.

We offer after-school activities up to grade 6. At Bergfotens School, we value a pleasant workplace and stimulating work together with engaged, competent colleagues who have a positive attitude towards their profession. We are constantly developing our operations to provide our students with the best conditions for their learning. We strive for each employee to have a good balance between work and leisure.

About the position

Substitute teacher for grades F-6 as needed. You will often work as part of a pair in a class based on the clarified responsibilities outlined in the national curriculum for compulsory school. This means that you, together with the school management and other colleagues, lead and develop the daily life in the school for increased goal fulfillment. We start from a formative approach with a focus on the individual student's needs and conditions.

If you also have knowledge and interest in working in other subjects, such as music, crafts, or sports, this is an advantage.

We place great importance on personal suitability and documented experience of successful leadership and mentorship in the classroom.

Hourly wage according to agreement. Called in as needed.

As a person, you are attentive and have the ability to meet students with different needs. You are a clear leader in your interactions with students and interested in developing work with assessment for learning. You are also flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented. We expect you to be able to work independently, have good social skills, and be a responsible and engaged person. You have a positive and professional attitude towards both students, parents, and colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability.
